About UsSupporting Students One Computer At A TimeStudent Affairs Information Technology incorporates a student tech support entity by the name of HuskyTech. HuskyTech is run by a professional staff member, but is fully staffed by students with the desire to help their fellow students. Like SAIT, HuskyTech techs strive to fulfill the technical needs of the UConn campus. HuskyTech student workers support UConn students both on and off campus. Our role is to provide students with information on how to connect to the University computer network, as well as providing help to keep the student’s computer clean and virus free. We act as a liaison between the student body and the central IT service (UITS) regarding network polices and violations. Parents and students please contact us regarding your technology needs at UConn.
Where is HuskyTech?HuskyTech is located at McMahon Residence Hall, 1st floor (above the McMahon Dining Hall).

They are responsible for creating and enforcing all of the IT policies on campus. UITS also supports students and faculty members with NetID and Peoplesoft account issues.
